About the Event

We have many classes to cater for all ages and all levels of ability. Our belief is that by offering creative and educational performance opportunities for young people we can elevate their talent and build confidence across many forms of artistic communication.

Most classes are competitive with a mark and places awarded.

We also offer non-competitive, novice classes which have no mark awarded. However, all entries receive verbal feedback directly from an adjudicator or experienced professional.

Trophies

Winners of classes are presented with a Medal after the class performance and some winners may be eligible for a trophy or cup. These are often presented at the final concert so if you think you may be in the running for one of those be sure to check back for details.

All trophies may be held for 11 months and are then to be returned in a clean condition. Any engraving are made at the Winner’s expense.

A full list of the Cups available can be found in the Syllabus.

Medals

Medals are given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Lanyards can be purchased on site for £1.

Medals can be purchased for Group performers who place for £5 including a lanyard.

Final Concert

Everyone is welcome to the final Celebration Concert which will feature different performers from across all the festival categories who have all been selected for their very high standard of performance. The concert provides a platform where families and performers can enjoy these performances again and will include the presentation of Bursaries and Overall Cups.

All funds raised from the concert will form a Bursary for the Overall Winner of the Festival.  It take place in January 2022. All cups and awards will be presented by Penny Rivers Chair of ArtGodalming.  Ticket price £10.
